The RMI/TDAFA advises all members that after discussions with the Department of Environmental Affairs we have been notified of their annual closure between 21 December 2018 and 02 January 2019. (attached)
There will consequently be no waste tyre collections during this period. Which encompasses 2 Saturday’s and 4 week days in total. The impact of which is not expected to be overtly onerous.
The TDAFA continues to engage with the department on a regular basis as to the future with of the Waste Tyre Management Plan, and as soon as information becomes available it will be communicated to all members.
Finally the TDAFA, MPEA & MIMA Associational Cluster would like to use this opportunity to wish all members of the Associations and the greater RMI, a very blessed Christmas and a prosperous 2019 to come.
